HGAR Expands Its Commitment to the Bronx with New Office

This August marks an exciting milestone for the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS® as we officially open the doors to our new Bronx office.

For HGAR, this is about much more than opening a new location. It is about strengthening our commitment to the Bronx, investing in our members who live and work here, and deepening our connection to the communities they serve every day.

The Bronx is an important part of HGAR and one of the most dynamic real estate markets in our region. Our new office gives us an opportunity to be more accessible, more engaged and, most importantly, more connected to our members. It will be a place where REALTORS® can learn, network, collaborate, build their businesses and become more involved with their Association closer to where they live and work.

That spirit of connection is at the heart of my theme this year, Tied to Success.

I believe our success as an Association is tied directly to the success of our members. And our members' success is tied to the strength of the relationships they build with one another, with their communities and with the people they serve. When we create more opportunities to bring those connections together, we make all of us stronger.

That is what this new Bronx office represents.

We are celebrating that commitment with a full week of activities surrounding the opening. Bronx Week will bring together members, HGAR leadership, community partners and local stakeholders for education, networking and opportunities to discover more of the resources available through HGAR.

The week will begin with our official ribbon cutting and continue with programming designed to deliver real value to our members, including professional development, technology, business building opportunities and community engagement.

As President of HGAR, one of my priorities has been making sure our members understand something very simple: this is your Association.

Our offices are places where members feel welcome. Walk in, make a new connection, find a resource, learn something that strengthens your business. That is exactly what we want our new Bronx office to become.

Our expanded presence in the Bronx also strengthens HGAR's ability to build relationships with elected officials, community organizations, business leaders and other stakeholders. Those relationships are critical to our ability to advocate for fair housing, homeownership, private property rights, our members and a healthy real estate market.

So I invite you to join us during Bronx Week. Come to the ribbon cutting. Attend a program. Meet someone new. Reconnect with a colleague. Learn about a resource you have not used before. And if you are an HGAR member who has never visited one of our offices or attended an Association event, consider this your personal invitation.

Whether you are bringing cannolis, tres leches or "sock it to me" cake, you are welcome. We are opening the door to greater connection, greater engagement and greater opportunity. Because wherever you do business, whatever stage of your career you are in and whatever success looks like to you, you are part of this Association.

In the Bronx we are connected, we are invested in one another, and we are... Tied to Success.
