HGAR is joining forces with NAR's REALTORS® Relief Foundation to help victims of Hurricane Helene, the second deadliest hurricane in the last 50 years, which left a devastating path of death and destruction.

Since 2001 the REALTORS® Relief Foundation has distributed over $50 Million Dollars to the victims of 9/11 terrorist attacks and natural disasters in over 43 states and US territories. Over $10 Million, or 20% of the TOTAL aid distributed by the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, has come right back to help our communities in NY. Most recently, HGAR distributed a $500,000 grant to the victims of the Hudson Valley floods in 2023. 

Sadly, only 42 out of over 65,000 NY Realtors® contributed to the REALTORS® Relief Foundation in 2023. Let’s show that NY Realtors® can give as good as we can get. The REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF) is a charitable organization, created by the National Association of REALTORS® dedicated to providing housing-related assistance to victims of disasters. Created as a REALTOR® driven response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, RRF continues to restore and rebuild communities affected by disasters such as wildfires, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, and tornadoes thanks to the generosity of individual REALTORS®, REALTOR® Associations, and affiliated organizations.
