Salesperson/Associate Broker REALTOR® Membership
When you join HGAR, you gain access to an array of advanced tools, professional development opportunities, and valuable resources to help you build your business.
Member fees include local ($275), state ($120) and national REALTOR® ($156 + $45 Public Image Assessment) dues. All dues are pro-rated based on the month you join HGAR, so you only pay for services received. Dues are billed annually. REALTOR® dues are not refundable.

What you need to join as an Salesperson or Associate Broker
- Your Broker must be a member of HGAR (not applicable for secondary membership – see below)
- A valid New York Real Estate Salesperson or Associate Broker license
- Completed HGAR REALTOR® application
- Payment (Dues schedule)
- Register for the Required New Member Orientation (schedule included with application)
- Please note that OneKey® MLS access is a separate application
Once your application has been submitted, please allow 3-5 business days for processing. Once processed you will receive a welcome email with instructions to complete the registration process. It will also include your New Member Orientation Date (if applicable).

Already a REALTOR®?
If you already hold membership in another REALTOR® association, you can join HGAR as a secondary member. In this case, you'll only pay local dues to HGAR ($275). In addition to the above list you will need to submit:
- A letter in Good Standing from your primary REALTOR® association, stating that the current year’s State and National dues have been paid.
- Your NRDS #
- HGAR’s New Member Orientation is NOT required for secondary members.
