Submit Your Application to Join the 2027/2028 OneKey® MLS Board of Managers (BOM)

OneKey® MLS is now accepting applications to serve on the BOM for the 2027-2028 term. This two-year term begins on January 1, 2027. Currently there are:

  1. Three seats open to represent subscribers who are members of the Long Island Board of REALTORS®.

  2. Two seats open to represent subscribers who are members of the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS®.

Your expertise can have a significant impact on the direction of the MLS, and you do so, embodying OneKey's values: Integrity, service, innovation, collaboration, and adaptability.


Eligibility Requirements


To be eligible for our BOM you must:


  1. Be a Participant at the time of appointment (which includes having signed a Participant End User Licensing Agreement: an acknowledgement that the Participant agrees to abide by the OneKey® MLS Rules and Procedures and the Operating Agreement). Participants can be the Broker/Owner OR an Office/Regional Manager that has been appointed by the Broker/Owner to be a Participant

  2. Have been a Participant for at least 3 years.

  3. Be willing to attend meetings - approximately 1 meeting per month, which are scheduled in advance to allow managers ample time to plan accordingly. Managers review preparatory documentation so that they can engage fully in discussion and decision making.

  4. Commit to acting with discretion, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to the Board of Managers' Roles and Responsibilities.

  5. Consider participating in various task forces. 


Please note:

  1. No firm may have more than one person serving on the Board of Managers. If this occurs due to an acquisition, these Managers may serve the rest of the year and then must be replaced according to the procedures outlined in the Operating Agreement.

  2. Preference is shown for applicants who have some form of prior volunteer experience at either the association or MLS level. 


Key Dates: 


Applications are due on Friday, August 21, 2026, before 5:00 PM ET. All applications are reviewed for eligibility. 


  • If selected, you will be contacted the week of September 7, 2026 to schedule an interview with the OneKey® MLS Nominating Committee.

  • Interviews will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026. Once candidates have been interviewed, the Nominating Committee will convene and make its recommendations.

  • Candidate selections will be announced at the end of October 2026.
