HGAR Broker Summit Brings Industry Leaders Together to Strengthen Broker Success

Insights, strategy, and collaboration to help brokers strengthen their business and stay ahead in a changing market

HGAR recently welcomed more than 80 brokers to our 2026 Broker Summit, a dynamic, content-rich program designed to provide actionable insights, foster meaningful dialogue, and support business growth across our membership. As part of our continued commitment to delivering high-value member benefits, the Summit brought together industry experts, national thought leaders, and local professionals for a day focused on strategy, market intelligence, and operational excellence.

“This Summit was designed with one goal: to provide brokers, owners, and managers with the insights and tools they need to lead and grow their businesses and offices in today’s market,” said Joe Maymi, Chair of HGAR’s Broker Owner Manager Committee. “The level of engagement and collaboration we saw throughout the day reinforces the value of bringing our leadership community together in this way."

The program featured a strong lineup of speakers addressing the most pressing topics impacting brokers today. Attendees heard directly from OneKey MLS leadership, including CEO Richard Haggerty and SVP of Business Development Gary Connolly, who shared updates on MLS enhancements and tools designed to support broker success. Legal expert John Dolgetta provided critical guidance on navigating today’s regulatory landscape, ensuring brokers remain informed and compliant in a rapidly evolving environment.

A highlight of the day was the broker panel discussion featuring national industry leader Sherry Chris, offering perspective on brokerage trends, leadership, and the future of real estate. The program also included a market update from Dr. Jessica Lautz, Deputy Chief Economist at NAR, who delivered timely data and insights to help brokers better understand shifting market dynamics and consumer behavior.

Interactive roundtable discussions led by Nykea Pippion-McGriff, NAR Vice President of Association Engagement, gave attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas, share challenges, and collaborate on solutions with their peers. The day concluded with a session on leveraging RPR tools to enhance business operations and client service.

“HGAR is working to deliver programming that is relevant and focused on business impact. This is the type of support our brokers need as they navigate the ever changing market and look for new opportunities,” said Kenyatta Jones-Arietta, Vice Chair of HGAR’s Broker Owner Manager Committee.
