NYACK, N.Y. — Montefiore Nyack Hospital recently celebrated the opening of its expanded Urology Center in Nyack, further strengthening healthcare services and investment in Rockland County.

The new facility, located at 18 North Highland Avenue, brings together specialized urology services in a modernized setting designed to improve access to care for residents throughout the region. Hospital leaders, physicians, local officials and community stakeholders gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the center's official opening.

According to Montefiore Nyack Hospital, the expanded center will provide comprehensive urologic care, including treatment for conditions affecting the kidneys, bladder and urinary tract, while supporting the growing healthcare needs of Rockland County's population.

Beyond its healthcare impact, the investment reflects continued growth in the county's medical sector, which remains a significant contributor to the local economy. Healthcare institutions are among the region's largest employers and play an important role in attracting residents, businesses and investment to Hudson Valley communities.

The opening of the Urology Center is part of Montefiore's ongoing efforts to expand specialized healthcare services closer to where patients live and work, reducing the need for residents to travel outside the county for advanced medical care.

As communities across the Hudson Valley continue to grow, access to quality healthcare remains an important factor in overall quality of life and economic development. Investments in medical facilities and healthcare infrastructure help support vibrant communities while strengthening the region's long-term appeal for residents and employers alike.

Montefiore Nyack Hospital is a member of the Montefiore Health System and serves residents throughout Rockland County and the surrounding Hudson Valley region.
